Loama Resort opens on Maamigili Island in the Maldives

Loama Resort hotel will open on the private island of Maamigili in the Maldives in March 2015.

The 105-room resort has a selection of Beach Villas and glass-bottomed over-water Ocean Villas on poles above the sea, each one boasting an outdoor deck and a rain shower.

There is a business centre on-site, with a library and meetings facilities available. Free wi-fi also runs throughout the resort. 

Other facilities include an outdoor infinity pool, fitness and wellness centre and a choice of six different eateries, including: Thai fine dining; Japanese with sushi bar and teppanyaki; Western; Asian; Mediterranean; and a barbecue restaurant. The resort also hosts the Maldives’ first gallery of contemporary Maldivian art in an over-water pavilion.

Incentive groups can access activities such as diving, snorkelling, a range of watersports, private luxury yacht cruises and island escapades.
