Wrathall will start in early March and will lead the EICC team at Scotland Week in New York in April, and at IMEX in Frankfurt this May. She is the first senior team appointment for EICC's new chief executive, Marshall Dallas.

Wrathall joins EICC from a group sales and marketing role at a leading spa chain, and previously to this she was sales and marketing manager at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange venue for five years. She is a founding board member of the Scottish Events and Festivals Association and a committee member of the Edinburgh Businesswomen’s Club.

Dallas said: "Amanda’s fifteen years' experience in business tourism is a perfect fit for the lead sales and marketing role at EICC. She will spearhead our new approach in the corporate meetings and events market and further enhance our international association conference market presence."
