The extended contract includes an expanded agreement which covers additional European countries and Volkswagen’s online business in these markets.

HRG will work with Volkswagen to develop an end-to-end solution with both on and offline booking processes and to deliver a flexible travel programme for the company’s business travellers.

Wolfgang Strasser, managing director of HRG Germany, said: "We are delighted to have expanded our partnership with Volkswagen Group. By building on our existing foundations we look forward to consolidating Volkswagen Group’s travel programme in additional European markets."

HRG recently predicted that greater integration across travel programmes would be a key focus for clients in 2015.
