Resort and spa opens on Vietnam's Phu Quoc Island

The first luxury resort on Vietnam's Phu Quoc Island, Salinda Resort and Spa, has opened in the town of Duong Dong on Long Beach.

The five-star resort is situated just 10 minutes from the international airport and has 121 deluxe rooms and villas, each with a private balcony.

Salinda features a business centre with a multilingual concierge, secretarial services, translation and courier services, and conference support 24 hours a day. It has two VIP rooms available for private dining for 20 people each, and a banquet hall that can accommodate over 300 delegates. 

Other features of the resort include an international restaurant, lounge, infinity swimming pool and pool bar. There is also a health club and spa with seven individual treatment rooms, shower, bath and steam room.

For incentive activities, guests can go snorkelling, diving, water skiing, jet skiing, kayaking and deep-sea fishing. Cookery lessons and yoga classes are also available on site. Local excursions include private cruising, visiting the local pepper farms, or a trip to Ham Ninh fishing village.
