With the takeover of Acqua Consultoria, which specialises in infrastructure, environment and energy sector events, and AB Eventos, which specialises in medical science events, MCI Brazil expects to ‘double in size’ in 2015 and generate more than £30m in turnover.
The acquisitions have also led to the addition of a new MCI Brazil office in Porto Alegre, joining its existing offices in Rio do Janeiro and Sao Paulo.

MCI has also recently launched a partnership with the Futura Networks’ Campus Party Initiative, which promotes digital culture through educational forums, and will now be responsible for all Campus Party events.
