Conference Contacts appoints new MD

Events agency Conference Contacts has moved Antony Waite to the role of managing director as one of a number of promotions to reflect the company's growth.

Waite was previously director of client services at the agency, where he has worked for 14 years.

Other promotions by Conference Contacts include the appointments of Rosalyn Giles, director of client services, and Paul Ratcliffe, head of business development, onto its board of directors.

Michael Avery has also been promoted into the role of operations director. He had rejoined Conference Contacts in 2013 and previously served as general manager.

Conference Contacts CEO Denise Ellis said: "These promotions recognise the significant contribution these staff members have made to the success of Conference Contacts over the past years. They will each play a key role in expanding the company to reflect the continued growth of our business and my future plans for Conference Contacts."
