Matt Holman joins from Portman Travel, and will work as a bid writer on a number of large tender contracts and new business proposals.

Patrick Kuziw, previously global operations manager of travel at International SOS, has been hired as systems development manager.

Pat O’Neill, managing director of Ian Allan Travel, said: "Matt and Patrick’s appointments form part of our expansion into this year, where we expect to see growth in our meetings and events division, as well as continued growth in our corporate, academic and charity sector travel management."

The company is one of Britain’s longest serving independent travel management firms owned and managed by the Allan family for the past fifty years.
