Congrex Switzerland, which rejoined IAPCO in November, will act as meetings experts for Switzerland, offering regional knowledge and capabilities to clients from Maritz. Congrex Switzerland specialises in organising international scientific and medical congresses, ranging from 100 to 25,000 delegates.

"Maritz Travel Company has hand-selected Congrex Switzerland based on its meeting capabilities and expertise, its ability to uniquely connect our client programs to its regions, and because it shares similar philosophies, ethics and values as Maritz Travel Company," said Ben Goedegebuure, global general manager of EMEA at Maritz Travel Company.

The announcement comes after Maritz announced B Network as its meetings expert for France and Spain in December last year.

Maritz launched the Maritz Global Meetings Network, which consists of a range of PCOs and DMCs, in October 2014 to enhance its regional capabilities.
