The seventh Summer in the City gathering for YouTube viewers, content creators and brands will take place from 14-16 August 2015, the first day targeted at industry professionals and content creators.

The move supports the organiser Vlogger Events' ambition to grow the event, allowing more creators and fans to visit.

Tom Burns, founder of Summer in the City, said this year's event will be the biggest yet and is expected to attract thousands of attendees from across the globe.

"We're really excited to be at ExCel this year and feel that it is just the beginning of much larger things to come, as our event continues to grow with the YouTube platform and is seen as one of the most prestigious YouTube events in the world," he commented.

"This year's programming will once again focus on all current trends of the YouTube platform, allowing us to provide a valuable experience to all of our attendees, whether they are content creators, industry professionals or YouTube viewers."

Content will include a variety of live stage performances, Q&A sessions, meet and greet opportunities, screenings and brand exhibitions.

James Rees, executive director at ExCel London added: "We are delighted to be the host venue for what’s set to be the biggest Summer in the City yet and will support their ambition to grow the event now and in the future. For this cutting-edge event, ExCel provides a state-of-the art, modern environment for people to come, get creative, express their ideas and be inspired. It’s fantastic to be welcoming brands such as YouTube, as well as the likes of Adobe, LinkedIn and Hewlett Packard, in what will be our busiest ever year."
