Foreman joins TFI Group as sales and marketing director after leaving his role as managing director of Kenes UK, while Lisa James takes on the role of director of operations after 13 years at Reed & Mackay.

The agency has also appointed a new finance director, with Sanjay Patel joining from more2 Ltd, a multi-channel retail marketing agency, where he was managing director.

The new additions will mean that Simon Maier will take on the role of group creative director.

Peter Franks, chairman, TFI Group, said: "Building a strong board, as we develop our business not only in the UK but abroad, is key and now that the business is very much sales led, we want to drive up our creativity and range of event services in a continued pursuit of our proposition to help our customers engage with their audiences.

"The ambition to become a full-service events agency is, as planned, a reality and to drive forward sustainable growth we were keen to have a board that would work as an excellent team and also ensure that the group goes from strength to strength in all functions."

Foreman added: "TFI has seen considerable growth in exciting sectors, particularly in sales within the pharma channel - led by Simon Maier - who is now directing the agency’s creative output.

"The level and type of work that we are doing is broader, wider and with deeper scope than event management alone and our production capability is now burgeoning. We are also talking to clients at strategic levels and these conversations are leading to broader opportunities that fit into our ambition. It’s a very exciting time to be part of an exciting agency."
