Hyatt opens new conference hotel in Istanbul

Hyatt Hotels has announced the opening of the five-star Hyatt Regency Istanbul Atakoy in the centre of the Turkish metropolis.

The 284-room hotel is within easy access of Istanbul Atatürk Airport and Taksim Square in the city centre.

It features more than 11,430sqm of meeting and event facilities, including a ballroom that can fit 1,200 people for a standing reception and 864 for a seated dinner. Also available is The Residence, a separate event area with a veranda overlooking the Marmara Sea, and The Garden, an outdoor function lawn.

Dining options include Brizo, an Eastern Mediterranean restaurant, and Vue, a lounge and bar on the 17th floor with panoramic views of the sea.

The hotel also hosts the Levana Spa & Fitness Centre, which offers personalised therapies and traditional Turkish baths, as well as an indoor and an outdoor pool.
