The portfolio’s collection of managed venues hosted more than 820,000 guests at 8,000 meetings and events over the time period. This was boosted by the Chrismas party market, which delivered 77,000 covers.

In addition to this, the company’s sales office saw a 56% increase in enquiry levels and a 27% rise in confirmed revenue.

Lime Venue Portfolio instigated a number of sales and marketing initiatives over the period, including three ‘Impact Week’ campaigns, which targeted the summer and Christmas events markets.

The group was also the headline sponsor of The Meeting Show UK and a hosted buyer event at the Science Museum, which generated more than £600,000 worth of event enquiries and a 22% increase in calls to the sales team.

Head of sales Jo Austin said: "We are delighted with 2014’s landmark results and thank our clients and customers for their support.

"Moving forward, our clear message to the market is that whilst being unusual is great, being recognised as delivering exceptional meetings and events is even better."

Lime Venue Portfolio includes the likes of Twickenham Stadium, the Millennium Stadium, London Olympia and Cheltenham Racecourse.
