Wilkinson joined the agency in October 2013 with a remit to bring the company's account teams together and enable the meetings and events business to function as one.

In July 2014, Wilkinson stepped up to take sole responsibility for the sales and account management for Grass Roots Meetings & Events.

Grass Roots said Wilkinson has successfully led the Client Services team through a year of significant transition and restructuring, which has helped result in Grass Roots Meetings & Events’ best-ever year of trading.

Speaking exclusively to C&IT, Wilkinson commented: "My time at Grass Roots Meetings & Events was brilliant, I was surrounded by an amazing and hard-working team and I achieved what I set out to do. I am very proud to have been part of the team responsible for the best trading year ever, learning a lot along the way. I now want to focus on new and greater challenges and am excited about what 2015 may bring."

Des McLaughlin, divisional director, Grass Roots Meetings & Events said: "Hannah leaves with our best wishes and we are sad to see her go. She has played an important part in aligning our Meetings & Events service offerings - which has been a key factor in our success this year. There is still much work to do and we are not complacent, but we predict further growth in the UK and also in our key international markets in 2015."

Kevin Robinson will step up from his role as group account director to take over Wilkinson's role as client services director. McLaughlin added: "My congratulations go to Kevin Robinson. He is extremely capable and has fantastic relationships across the board. I know he will be a great success in 2015, and beyond, and will build on the great foundations that have been laid in 2014."

Prior to joining Grass Roots, Wilkinson was a board director at Zibrant, overseeing and leading the development of pharmaceutical accounts. She was nominated to be part of the first C&IT A List, celebrating 35 of the best event agency talent aged 35 and under, in 2009.
