The programme will introduce aspiring females in the industry to mentors who will aim to help them develop their careers by sharing knowledge and experience.

The scheme has already recruited 12 mentors, including AstraZeneca’s global events director Joanna Lawlor, executive director of global sales EMEA at FRHI Hotels & Resorts Meenaz Lilani, and C&IT's editor-in-chief Yasmin Arrigo.

The Fast Forward 15 programme has been accredited by both Meeting Professionals International and the HBAA.

The scheme’s website and application process will be launched soon.
