Yeats (née Walker), who was nominated as one of the top 35 agency players under 35 in C&IT’s A List last year, previously worked as account director on the company’s O2/Telefonica account. She brings 10 years' experience in events to her new role.

"Having worked in the events industry in various roles I’ve experienced a lot of what the events world has to offer," said Yeats.

"My new role is an exciting challenge and I’m looking forward to playing an integral role in developing and growing Sledge further."

The news of Yeats’ promotion comes shortly after Sledge’s recruitment of Robert Kenward at the end of 2014 to act as commercial director. Both roles are key to the company’s plans for 2015, which include executing its biggest UK event so far, the O2 Telefonica Campus Party, and its international Dubai World Cup horse-racing event.

Sledge has also recently recruited two new account executives to support its expanding account management team following internal promotions.

Laura Capell, managing director of Sledge, said: "It’s a very exciting time at Sledge HQ at the moment. We are very happy to welcome some new clients and team members to our family and to see Sarah take on the role of client services director to ensure we continue offering the best service possible."
