Lowe, who left Capita Travel & Events in September 2014, will head up the new division, which will include a new events solutions team and an online venue-finding portal with access to more than 420,000 venues.

The new team will be based in Swindon and will be part of the Bluehat Group’s plans to form a ‘boutique events agency’.

Lowe said: "We have got great aspirations to develop the excellent reputation Bluehat has in their team-building and learning-and-development proposition to form a ‘boutique events agency’ – creating a whole new division based in Wanborough, Swindon for our venues and events offering.

"I’m looking forward to bringing further strength to the Bluehat Group with a whole new venue-finding event service with the sole aim of creating a ‘best in class’ agency."

Lowe spent more than a year and a half at Capita Travel & Events after the agency acquired her own company Venues Event Management in 2013.
