Event and corporate hospitality planners can look forward to a bumper 2015, with an exciting programme of top sports events scheduled to take place in the UK and Ireland.

As well as the regular annual highlights, special events coming to our shores include the Rugby World Cup and The Ashes cricket, as well as swimming and gymnastics world cups heading to Glasgow as part of the city's Commonwealth Games legacy. Further afield, the cricket World Cup takes place in Australia and New Zealand, and England's women head to Canada for the football World Cup in the summer.

If you are organising events around, or taking clients to, any of these events – or any others not on our list – please get in touch by emailing cit@haymarket.com or tweeting @CITmagazine.
