The 104-bedroom DoubleTree by Hilton Agra hotel is one of few properties offering views of the famous mausoleum, and is located close to Agra's other attractions including the Agra Fort, Akbar’s Tomb, Jama Masjid and Kinari Bazaar.

Its conference and meeting facilities include a 425-capacity Grand Ballroom, the 200-capacity Coronation Room, a multi-function hall with space for up to 75 people, two boardrooms and a 24-hour business centre.

Guests will also be able to make use of an outdoor infinity pool with views of the Taj Mahal, a 24-hour fitness centre, spa, salon and four dining options ranging from the North 27 restaurant to the all-day Food Store deli.

John Greenleaf, global head, DoubleTree by Hilton said the launch secures Hilton's presence across the popular Golden Triangle tourist circuit, with hotels in Delhi NCR, Jaipur and Agra. "The opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Agra marks our entry into one of the most important leisure markets in India for both DoubleTree by Hilton and Hilton Worldwide," he commented.

The hotel is owned by Archer Hospitality Private Limited and managed by Hilton Worldwide. All guests will receive DoubleTree's signature warm chocolate chip cookie welcome on arrival.
