The event, taking place at Hotel Meridian Ra, kicked off on 26 November and will end on 13 December, with 1,700 dealers and sales staff from Europe and India travelling to Barcelona.

Delegates are attending the event on a 36-hour programme with groups of 60 arriving in the morning and a second group of 60 arriving in the middle of the day, a pattern that is continuing throughout the three weeks.

The 36-hour programme includes a training event followed by a countryside drive in the new Discovery Sport to Les Comes, a private estate on the outskirts of Barcelona, where delegates are taking part in off-road experiences, driving the car through an adventure course with a range of landscapes including riverbeds and sheer drops that putting the vehicle it to the test.

The objective of the event is to train delegates on the capabilities of the new Discovery Sport so they will be able to successfully sell the car at their dealerships.
