B Network, which has offices in Barcelona, Cannes and Paris, will serve as meetings experts for France and Spain for Maritz Travel Company clients.

The agreement follow's Maritz announcement in October that Ben Goedegebuure would be leading on the new Maritz Global Meetings Network.

B Network’s corporate and government clients include Microsoft, Reed Exhibitions, information technology research and advisory firm Gartner Group and the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, for which it supplies accommodation services for official state meetings such as the previous G20 in Cannes and the upcoming global summit on climate change in Paris.

"We hand-selected b network based on their meeting capabilities and expertise, their ability to uniquely connect our client programs to their regions, and because they share similar philosophies, ethics and values as Maritz Travel Company," said Goedegebuure, global general manager of EMEA.

Stéphane Teboul, CEO of B Network Spain, said: "The Maritz Global Meetings Network is definitely a strong asset for France’s attractiveness, guaranteeing a level of service to major international customers. B Network is very proud and extremely excited to be part of this network with one of the leaders in the meetings industry; this approach will, without any doubt, also bring a lot of new opportunities to Spain."
