Where to stay: The five-star, luxury Gran Hotel Atlantis Bahia Real sits directly on the beachfront near Corralejo Natural Dune Park. It has 242 rooms, five restaurants, a 3,000sqm spa and seven meeting rooms for up to 500 delegates.

Where to meet: On the Caleta de Fuste beach, the four-star Barcelo Fuerteventura Thalasso Spa has three meeting spaces, which can be combined for a space holding 560 theatre-style or 600 for cocktails. The 266-room Sheraton Fuerteventura hotel is near the airport and has six meeting rooms. These include the 520sqm Fuerteventura, which can hold 290 theatre-style or 650 for cocktails, and the 260sqm Tenerife, with capacity for 160 theatre-style.

Where to eat: Gran Hotel Atlantis Bahia Real has several notable restaurants, including Yamatori serving Japanese cuisine, and La Cupula, an elegant affair serving Michelin-starred chef Carles Gaig's gourmet cuisine. The Sheraton's four restaurants include the traditional El Faro de Antigua serving Mediterranean cuisine and the Wok-N-Zen Pan-Asian Restaurant.

After dark: Flicks Bar Fuerteventura is a lively spot in Corralejo, comprising the main disco and karaoke bar, and a lounge area with chillout sofas. The venue has capacity for 160 inside, or 500 when using its outside terrace.
