The company, which launched in 2011, beat off competition from nine other agencies to win the contract to stage national nursery chain BusyBees' staff awards ceremony for 300 guests in March.

In addition, it has signed a deal with American manufacturer Terex that will see it work on tools, plant and equipment hire show Executive Hire Show in February and construction exhibition Plantworx in June.

Managing director and owner Stephen Morton-Prior told C&IT there is also an opportunity to become an in-house white label event management solution at a large medical communications company in the pipeline. "If we win, our growth will be significant and it will send warning signals to the big agencies that smaller agencies can offer an equally strong product but at a much more affordable price point," he commented.

Morton-Prior said the company has seen "unprecedented growth" since it started with just a laptop and a dining room table three years ago. Run by a team of four, it has turned over £500,000 so far this year. "We have managed 30 events this year, including a gala dinner for 1,000 guests, and already have 12 events confirmed for 2015," he revealed.
