Around 40 event professionals attended the event, along with George P Johnson representatives, to hear educational sessions from guest speakers including Uber business development manager Simon Reynolds and comedian, author and entrepreneur Shed Simove.

Jackson kicked off proceedings with a discussion on the impact of data-driven events, using how George P Johnson delivered Cisco Live as an example of how content can enhance the attendee experience.

Uber’s Simon Reynolds followed, detailing the meteoric rise of the ride-sharing service and how global and local marketing campaigns has launched the brand all over the world.

Shed Simove, who spoke at C&IT’s Agency Forum event at Wembley Stadium in August, concluded the Morning Premiere with a presentation on how breaking the rules and taking inspiration from outside industries can lead to success in the events industry.

George P Johnson hosted its last Morning Premiere event in July, when Kevin Jackson discussed the shift in audience demand for content alongside a guest speaker from Buzzfeed.
