Due for completion in April 2015, the new conference centre will offer more than 1000sqm of floor space and eleven function rooms spanning two levels. Each function room will have advanced audio visual equipment and will feature natural daylight.
The new facility will cater for 500 for a gala dinner in the ballroom, while a dinner for 350 can be acccommodated in the ground floor conference rooms. The investment aims to ensure the Hotel Grand Chancellor Brisbane remains a key player in the functions arena.
Further to the conference space, the construction will also see the expansion of the existing lobby and the transformation of offices and function rooms to make way for the development of 36 additional hotel rooms.
Located on the highest point in the CBD, the 4.5-star Hotel Grand Chancellor Brisbane overlooks Roma Street Parkland and offers views of the city, mountains and river.
