In Numbers: EIBTM 2014

C&IT takes a look at the big numbers from this year's EIBTM in Barcelona, which comes to a close today (20 November).

15,000 – meeting professionals from around the world attended the show

3,000 – exhibitors from 150 countries

4,000 – hosted buyers from 71 countries

50,000 – appointments matched

25,000 – number of additional hosted buyer appointments made through EIBTM's new 'self-selector' tool

25% – rise on the number of pre-scheduled appointments made last year

70 – number of educational seminars the show's Knowledge Programme delivered over the three days

Earlier this week (18 November), EIBTM revealed that it will be renamed IBTM World ahead of the 2015 show as part of the rebrand of the IBTM events portfolio.
