In his new role Keane will be responsible for the digital creative output for Ford of Europe. He will report into group board director and business head of Ford EMEA, David Girling, and European creative director Chris Beckles.
He brings with him experience in app, web, e-commerce and mobile site design, as well as above-the-line TV and mobile advertising and has worked with clients including Shell, HSBC, the Territorial Army, Rolex F1 Sponsorship and KitKat. Prior to JWT, he held positions at CHI & Partners and Skive.
Girling said: "It is great to have James on board. He is a very talented digital designer and we look forward to him making a big contribution to our work with Ford in Europe."
