The great and the good of the events industry will descend upon Fira Barcelona this week as it hosts IBTM World for three days.

Located close to Barcelona Airport, the impressive venue is one of the largest and most modern of its kind in Europe, with striking architecture designed by Japanese architect Toyo Ito, winner of the Pritzker prize.

Gran Via has 240,000sqm of floor space, eight halls, 45 restaurants, 4,580 parking spaces and two helipads. The Convention Centre is a modular and versatile space, with capacity for up to 12,000 delegates, plus a variety of rooms spread over the halls. The eight pavilions, connected by a walkway that channels the flow of visitors, offer cutting-edge services and logistics.

Fira Gran Via also boasts a commitment to sustainability, with a large rooftop photovoltaic installation.
