The event will examine the future of physical activity and the public health agenda. It is expected to attract more than 400 senior influencers from the physical activity, health, policy, brand, media, research, charity, and local authority sectors.

It will be chaired by The Guardian & Observer’s health correspondent, Denis Campbell. High-profile speakers include former Olympic gold medallist James Cracknell OBE, former Paralympian Baroness Grey-Thompson DBE, and parliamentary under secretary of state for public health, Jane Ellison MP.

Christina Edscer, ukactive Events Manager, "We’ve chosen to return to the venue again in 2014 because of Congress Centre’s excellent location close to multiple transport links, which makes it extremely convenient for delegates to get to. We also wanted a daylight venue with plenty of breakout space, along with a purpose-built stage set in the main room to avoid having to bring in extra equipment. The Congress Centre ticks all those boxes for us."
