Michel Neijmann, president of IAPCO, said he was "delighted" that Congrex Switzerland is joining IAPCO again. "The company has 32 years of history and excellent references," he said.

Alain Pittet, managing director of Congrex Switzerland commented: "We are very proud to rejoin the IAPCO family and to share our knowledge and long-term experiences with our colleagues. IAPCO plays a major role in our industry and we would like to actively get involved in its future journey."

The professional conference organiser completed a management buy-out last November following the collapse of parent company Congrex Holding.

Last week, C&IT reported how its UK counterpart Contendam has gone into voluntary liquidation less than one year after it rebranded from Congrex UK, following its management buyout.

Contendam managing director Susan Hayden and commercial director Caroline MacKenzie have joined Zibrant to set up a new association services offering.
