The International Special Events Society (ISES) hosted its Halloween event at The Bloomsbury Ballrooms last night (30 October), with props, dancers and DJs providing ‘Spook-tacular’ entertainment.

Natasha Abbas, account manager, WRG was revealed this week as the winner of the stunning once-in-a-lifetime trip to Dubai and Cape Town, courtesy of Kerzner.

As part of the package, Natasha and a guest will be spending three nights at the Atlantis The Palm in Dubai and three nights at the One & Only Cape Town hotel, as well as return flights with Emirates.

Rocco Forte Hotels hosted its annual bowling event last night (30 October) at All Star Lanes in Holborn for a host of agencies. The competition was in full swing with agencies including Adding Value, Chew Events, Grass Roots, Concerto Live, First Protocol and AOK Events all competing against each other to claim first place.

National Events Month came to a close this week with a final celebration at the Museum of London on Monday night (27 October). Supporters of the campaign were in attendance as BVEP chair Michael Hirst revealed a new proposal to increase tax exemption for annual parties.

C&IT and sister magazine Event attended the Children in Need Gala Dinner - An Evening With the Stars, on Tuesday (28 October) at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London, produced by Paragon Events. The likes of Sir Terry Wogan, John Culshaw, stars of Strictly Come Dancing and Spandau Ballet's Tony Hadley entertained guests on the night.
