SEFA will bring together the key people involved in delivering the Glasgow Commonwealth Games to discuss the economic, social, cultural and environmental impact of the Games and how the event industry can benefit.

The event, which will take place on 19 November at the City of Music Studio, Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, will feature presentations and a panel discussion from speakers including Scott Taylor, chief executive, Glasgow City Marketing Bureau; Paul Zealey, Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games; Stuart Turner, events director of EventScotland, and Ian Hooper, director of Sport and Special Projects, Glasgow Life.

Chris Lawson, SEFA vice chair, said: "With such a massive year in Scotland for events, we ask how can we maximise on the potential and how can we build on this for the future? This event is bringing together the key stakeholders in an open forum."
