The event will be one of the first to be held at the revamped Birmingham National Indoor Arena (NIA). Up to 850 dealer representatives will attend from across the UK.

Neville Staines, Head of National Events at Citroën UK, said: "Our National Dealer Conference is ‘the’ annual event for our dealer network. After a hotly contested pitch process, Crown’s proposal shone through as a clear winner."

Simon Hambley, Director of Live at Crown, added: "This is a great win for Crown and we are extremely pleased to be strengthening our relationship with Citroën during this exciting time in their journey as a company. The brand has real heritage and an exciting product line up for the future. It’s a powerful story to bring to life in what will be an exciting event to work on."

Last month, Crown reported gross profits of £2.9m in 2013, an 8% increase year-on-year, and turnover was £6.8m in 2013, a 15% increase on 2012
