Hosted by Uniqueworld, Abreu DMC and TAP Portugal, C&IT accompanied a number of event agencies including Imagination, One Two Four and River Marketing on a twin site visit to the capital Rio de Janeiro and Salvador, known as the first colonial capital of Brazil and one of the oldest cities in the Americas.

The group stayed at the Sofitel Rio de Janeiro Copacabana overlooking the legendary Copacabana Beach and experienced a tour of the historical city and the Maracana Stadium, a bike ride along the Copacabana coast, a trip in a cable car up to Sugarloaf Moutain and a visit to the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue.

In Salvador, the group stayed at the Convento do Carmo in the picturesque district of Pelourinho and enjoyed a mesmerising performance from the Bahia Folkore Company.
