The appointments have been made as Chambers Travel Events also launches a new Platinum Service, which offers clients the chance to have a dedicated event manager work solely on a specific project from start to finish, as well as offering personal onsite assistance during the event.

The new recruits include Victoria Mitchell, who joins Chambers Travel Events as events manager after four years at MCI Group as project manager. Mitchell will lead a team to deliver a major 650-delegate event for a pharmaceutical client in Edinburgh next April.

Liam Lazenby has been appointed to take charge of the agency’s new Platinum Service after three years at BCD Travel where he was a group consultant.

Chambers Travel Events has also appointed a new operations manager, with Noelle Allam joining from the agency’s sister travel management division, and a project manager with Mark Forns returning to the agency after two years at Reed & McKay where he was group travel consultant.

Mike Leeson, senior events manager at Chambers Travel Events said: "These are exciting times as we continue to go from strength to strength and win significant new pieces of business.

"It’s important that we recruit the right people with strong backgrounds in event management, travel and operations so that we can maintain the right balance between business growth and delivering innovative projects."
