The team picked up Meetings & Events Editorial Team of the Year and Supplement of the Year for C&IT's State of the Industry report 2014, while C&IT's editor-in-chief Yasmin Arrigo won Meetings & Events Editor of the Year for the third consecutive year.

C&IT reporter Jack Carter was shortlisted for Best Newcomer to Meetings & Events Journalism and also Business Travel News Journalist of the Year, along with news editor Alison Ledger.

The awards judges said "knowledge, fun and a dash of irreverence is the key to the Team C&IT spirit. It’s this combination that has won them the praise of the panel for their impressive portfolio of work that makes them the ‘stand out’ nominees."

The 11th annual Business Travel Journalism Awards took place at The Magazine, Hyde Park and were hosted by BBC Breakfast presenter Steph McGovern, who also chaired the judging panel, along with business travel and meetings managers, industry experts, journalists and lecturers.

Yasmin Arrigo, C&IT's editor-in-chief, said: "I am delighted that CWT and their judges have named Team C&IT the Meetings & Events Team of the Year 2014. Every member of the team has put in an exceptional performance across 2014, securing major exclusives and creating compelling content. We are thrilled to receive this accolade."
