The Sands Expo in Las Vegas opened in 1990 and, with over 209,000sqm of show floor and meeting space, is one of the largest convention centres in the world.

This week (14-16 October) the venue hosts the fourth IMEX America, 'America's worldwide exhibition for incentive travel, meetings and events'. This year's show will be 13% larger than in 2013 and features new exhibitors, innovations from Imex in Frankfurt, a range of services for first-time hosted buyers and a strong education focus.

The Venetian and The Palazzo hotels are connected to Sands Expo, offering more than 7,000 suites all under one roof, while a further 40,000 hotel rooms are within a 10-minute walk from the venue.

Sands Expo's Specialized Event Services (SES) supports planners in all the usual event services, including comprehensive technical support for Wi-Fi, Internet, and intranet capabilities.

Sands Expo has been undergoing renovations since 2012 that are upgrading the look of the exterior and interior design and making the meeting and convention spaces more functional.
