Exclusive Hotels and Venues has invested £1m to refurbish conference and events facilities across its six properties, including Royal Berkshire Hotel, Ascot and Fanhams Hall, Ware.

Royal Berkshire Hotel, Ascot, has has a refurbishment of its nine conference and meeting rooms, as well as a redesign of 11 guestrooms, the bar and lounge and the introduction of a new restaurant.

The conference and meetings facilities at Fanhams Hall, Ware and The Manor House, Castle Combe, have also been updated and now include touchscreen technologies and new AV equipment.

A new video conferencing suite has been installed at South Lodge, near Horsham, with the capacity for 20 delegates, while Lainston House, Winchester, has renovated its 17th century barn with the addition of larger doors to accommodate car launches and events.

A new screening room has also been added to Pennyhill Park, Surrey.

Johanne Holman, group director of sales and marketing at Exclusive Hotels and Venues, said: "We appreciate the importance of continued investment in our product, particularly where technology and meetings and events are concerned.

"It is vital that our offering remains fresh and contemporary throughout, while continuing to suit the needs of all of our guests, providing them with the optimum working and relaxing environment."
