The partnership will see the QEIICC sponsor a number of the trade association's events, including Summer EVCOM, the Clarion Awards 2015 and its Breakfast Clubs.

The venue will also host EVCOM's Christmas Drinks Reception in December.

EVCOM CEO Marco Forgione said: "We are putting together a formidable group of partners, which together allow us to improve even further the events that we hold and to represent this essential UK industry effectively. We will be working closely with all of our partners including QEII Centre over the next 12 months to create a platform for business for our members as we strive to help our members become more successful."

The QEICC reported record revenues in June before closing for a three-month, £12m refurbishment. It reopened in September.
