Norburn will assist CWT Meeting and Events’ commercial strategy alongside the agency’s leadership team made up of Ian Cummings, Liz Quinton and Andrea Petrucci.

Norburn spent more than 13 years at Banks Sadler and was previously head of conferences at Excel London.

Ian Cummings, MD, CWT Meetings & Events, UK & Ireland said: "We’re delighted to be welcoming Julie into our team.

"Her sales expertise will help drive our already strong and talented team to new levels of success for our clients' events, meetings and more".

In July, pharmaceutical giant Pfizer awarded CWT Meetings & Events the contract for its events business following a competitive, multi-agency pitch.
