Sibos conference kicks off in Boston

The world's largest financial conference, the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication's (Swift) Sibos event, has kicked off this week in Boston.

The 34th Swift Sibos conference will take place at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Centre from 29 September-2 October and is expected to attract more than 7,000 delegates.

UK agency Rapiergroup has been appointed to deliver the Swift exhibition stand, as well as the infrastructure around the exhibition floor.

The agency was also appointed to build stands for 11 exhibitors across the four-day event.

The annual conference, exhibition and networking event for the financial industry will discuss key issues in the financial industry across a series of plenaries, big debates, keynote addresses and panel discussions.

The conference has previously been held in destinations including Dubai, Osaka and Amsterdam, which was the largest Sibos to date with 8,900 delegates.

The next four destinations for future Sibos conferences have already been chosen, with Singapore, Geneva, Toronto and Sydney all due to host the event.
