Moscow: hotel highlights

Hotel development continues apace in Moscow. C&IT highlights recent and future openings in the Russian capital.

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Moscow – Marina: The 270-room hotel has a peaceful location on the bank of the Moskva River and offers 24 meeting spaces, with the largest configuration accommodating up to 405 for a reception.

Gallery Voyage: The four-star hotel opened in August and is located in the business area of Moscow, a five-minute drive from Kolomenskaya Metro Station and offers 560 rooms, conference facilities and a restaurant.

Moscow Marriott Hotel Novy Arbat: Scheduled to open in January 2015, the 195-room property will be the brand’s latest edition to its city centre Moscow hotels. There will be 6,000sqm of meeting space to include four meeting rooms, with the largest catering for up to 250, alongside an exhibition space on-site.

Astrum Spa & Conference Hotel: The five-star, 184-room property is opening in Shelkovo near Moscow in 2015. The hotel is part of a sundial park, with astronomical devices installed into the hotel facade and nearby the hotel. There will be 1,900msq of event space to include seven meeting rooms catering for up to 1,000 people as well as a 3,400msq spa area.
