Taiwanese airline EVA Air is celebrating Hello Kitty’s 40th birthday by bringing its themed aircraft to Europe. From 29 October, the special edition Boeing 777-300ER will fly between Paris and Taipei.
The quirky aircraft's exterior is decorated with Hello Kitty branding and the theme continues inside, where cabin crew will be dressed in Hello Kitty uniforms.
The new Paris services will replace the Taipei to Los Angeles Hello Kitty route and the aircraft will depart from the French capital’s Charles de Gaulle airport every Monday, Thursday and Saturday.
According to EVA, the Hello Kitty aircraft has been designed in partnership with the Japanese cartoon character’s creators, Sanrio, to "make flying fun and spread happiness among passengers all over the globe."
