The ICC, which has hosted four Conservative Party Conferences since 2008, will welcome 14,000 delegates to the event across the four days, with an estimated £17m to benefit the local economy.
It will be the final autumn party conference to take place before the 2015 General Election.
Ian Taylor, commercial director, Marketing Birmingham, said: "The Conservatives’ return to the city is a clear endorsement of the party’s confidence in our ability to deliver first-class events.
"The city attracted a record 34 million visitors last year, boosting the local economy by £5.34 billion.
"High-profile conferences bring immediate benefits for local hotels, venues and restaurants, continuing our work to raise Birmingham’s profile on a national and international stage."
The conference was secured by Marketing Birmingham, Birmingham City Council and the NEC Group.
