The partnership with Cvent will add to the CWT’s meeting planning, venue sourcing, event management mobile apps, payment processing and travel management software.

The agency, which sits in eighth position in C&IT's Top 50 UK Agencies table, will roll out the new service over the coming months to clients based in North America, Asia Pacific and Europe.

Floyd Widener, senior vice president, CWT Meetings & Events global, said: "This relationship with Cvent strengthens our global proposition, using technology to improve the event experience for attendees and organisers, as well as providing valuable management information for procurement professionals."

In July, pharmaceutical giant Pfizer awarded CWT Meetings & Events the contract for its events business following a competitive pitch.
