In the past 18 months, the DRP Digital Media team has seen significant growth, with the division doubling in size.
The group has continued to grow throughout 2014 after a record year in 2013 that saw profits of £1.8m.
Dale Parmenter, managing director of DRP, said: "At our summer conference where we announced our five-year plan, we set the ambitious target of growing our team to 250.
"Hitting 150 is obviously an important milestone on the way to this target. We’re not hiring people just to hit a target of course. Our rapid growth across our business divisions needs to be supported by the best talent and this means bringing in the right experienced, passionate individuals to join the team."
