Also included in the agency's £1m investment is a new venue-finding platform, which allows users to browse through more than 34,000 venues while implementing tools to track both enquiries and bookings.

Helen McCabe, director of operations, Zibrant, said: "Such a complete transformation presented many challenges and our strategy was to upgrade our infrastructure replacing our servers, PCs, laptops and mobile phones and to link with the best in class global technology providers.

"I am delighted that this month we have gone live, our partners are all specialists in their field, effectively providing market leading benefits to our clients."

Nigel Cooper, director of parent company Motivcom and chairman of Zibrant said: "About 18 months ago we identified that we have over 2,000 years of event experience in Zibrant, but some of our systems, while functional, were in need of a refresh, so we committed £1m to a complete restructure of our operating systems to propel us to the forefront of the industry."

Fay Sharpe, managing director of sales and marketing at Zibrant, added: "This month we have gone live with two clients and we plan to have all our clients migrated to the new systems by the end of the year."
