With Chelsea FC's opening match of the 2014/15 Premier League season kicking off this evening (18 August), C&IT checks out the stats from the club's corporate hospitality offering.

50,000 delegates attended meetings, events and exhibitions in Stamford Bridge’s The Great Hall, Centenary Hall and late night venue Under The Bridge in the 2013/2014 season.

100,000 – number of hospitality guests Chelsea FC hosted, using 5,000 stadium seats, 41 executive boxes and 17 Millennium Suites.

4,179 – number of hospitality packages sold for the 2014/15 season so far.

32,400 bottles of wine and 4,581 bottles of Champagne were drunk by corporate hospitality guests last season.

26,600 fillets of fish, 3,500 joints of beef, 112,000 kilos of vegetables, 36,600 Yorkshire Puddings and 121,000 homemade desserts were served.

0 The amount of waste that made it to landfill.
