TMG's rebrand follows its acquisition of VOS Media in February 2013 and, as part of the move, Telegraph Events is launching two new event divisions: Telegraph Business Events and Telegraph Bespoke, which will officially be taken to market in 2015.

Telegraph Business Events will become the conference and exhibition division of TMG and will aim to deliver events for business communities.

The team will be led by head of business events John Bates and divisional director Alex Foster, who joined TMG in May from UBM where she was managing director of virtual events.

Foster said: "The team will be responsible for delivering conferences, summits and exhibitions for the Telegraph's business audiences including the political and finance sectors.

"The events will be UK focused initially, with the aim to deliver 4-6 events in 2015, but as they develop and become repeatable they could go more international."

Telegraph Business Events' first project will be the Middle East Congress in February 2015 at the Four Seasons Hotel, Park Lane. The event will explore how governments can nurture economic revival in the countries affected by the Arab Spring.

The Telegraph Bespoke division will aim to provide exclusive experiences for The Telegraph’s audience.

Dave King, executive director of TMG, said: "The imminent launch of Telegraph Bespoke and Telegraph Business Events is yet another natural extension for our brand, driving new revenue streams, which will continue to bring greater value to a growing Telegraph audience with both a consumer and trade focus."
