Britain for Events launched National Events Month earlier this year to showcase the UK's events offering to the world.

The campaign, which has been endorsed by the UK Prime Minister David Cameron and the APPG, aims to reach event organisers globally to encourage them to use the UK for meetings and events. 

As part of the campaign, Britain for Events is encouraging event organisers to run new events during National Events Month in October and to use #NEMO on Twitter and other social media platforms.

The National Events Month initiative will focus on four sectors of the industry, each launched by a host event, which will include exhibitions and experiential; conferences and meetings; outdoor, cultural, sporting and music events; and corporate hospitality and incentive travel.
