The Belsfield Hotel in the resort town of Bowness-on-Windermere has undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment following its partnership with Laura Ashley.

The Grade II-listed property has 62 rooms, with 25 lake-facing rooms, and six conference rooms with free wi-fi.

It also has a cocktail bar and brasserie, ornate drawing room and library, putting green, garden terrace, heated indoor swimming pool, gym and sauna. The hotel is set in six acres of landscaped gardens with views over Lake Windermere.

Laura Ashley's first hotel, The Manor Elstree, opened in Hertfordshire in July 2013 and has 49 rooms.
